Rydges South Bank
Situated in the heart of Brisbane’s vibrant South Bank area is the 4-star hotel Rydges South Bank – it doesn’t get more central than that.
The 300 or so rooms are all modernly appointed in muted colours in dark shades, and many offer a great view of the city. All rooms offer air conditioning, a mini fridge with a minibar, a flat screen TV with the option of Apple TV, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and free Wi-Fi.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, and room service is also available, but you are in the middle of a veritable restaurant mecca, so we recommend that you go out and find your own favourite restaurant.
If it’s been a hot day, you can cool down in the small pool on the terrace, but if you’re in need of a good workout, you should probably opt for the gym instead. The pool is not quite big enough for you to swim many laps.
