Travelodge Resort
Situated in the bustling city centre of Darwin is Travelodge, a mere 10-minute walk from Mitchell Street, the city’s busiest street. Restaurants, bars and shops line the street, not to mention all manner of entertainment. If you walk one block further to the south-east, you come to the Esplanade and the lovely Bicentennial Park. The hugely popular Waterfront Lagoon is situated a 20-minute walk from your hotel.
Travelodge has 136 rooms in various categories. Stylishly appointed in neutral colours, all have air conditioning, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a flatscreen TV, fridge and free Wi-Fi.
The decent-sized pool is surrounded by palm trees and even a small waterfall. Chilled drinks are served at the pool bar, and you can quell your hunger at the hotel’s restaurant.
