When you stay at Ayers Rock Resort, you almost become a resident of an entire small village. Residents have access to a number of facilities: free shuttle bus to and from the airport, free shuttle bus around the resort area, access to bars and restaurants and the option to participate in a wide range of free activities. There is also a day spa, a supermarket and a couple of souvenir shops – not to mention the various hotels you can stay at.
Voyages Desert Gardens is the resort’s 3.5-star hotel. It has 218 rooms of different categories. All of them have air conditioning, a flatscreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, a safe, an iron and ironing board and access to a small terrace or balcony.
The hotel itself is located right in the middle of the Ayers Rock Resort. There are restaurants and shops just around the corner, but the hotel also has two bars/restaurants. The pool is in the middle of the hotel complex surrounded by fine, green grass, which is quite incredible here in the middle of the outback.
There is free Wi-Fi all over the hotel, and there is also a playground for kids.
