When you stay at Ayers Rock Resort, you almost become a resident of an entire small village. Residents have access to a number of facilities: a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, free shuttle bus around the resort area, access to bars and restaurants and the option to participate in a wide range of free activities. There is also a day spa, a supermarket and a couple of souvenir shops – not to mention the various hotels you can stay at.
Voyages Outback Hotel & Lodge is the resort’s three-star hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar and is well worth a visit; it oozes “Aussie atmosphere”. The pool invites you to take a refreshing dip in the often hot outback. As the hotel is located in the quiet part of the resort, it has its own small souvenir shop, where it is also possible to buy snacks and drinks.
The rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need: air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, a flatscreen TV and free Wi-Fi.
