Full-day excursion to Lamington National Park
Around a 2-hour drive south of Brisbane in Lamington National Park, there is a small pocket of original rainforest from the Gondwana era. The park was declared worthy of preservation by UNESCO in 1994 for this very reason.
There is a rich diversity of species, from Antarctic beech forest to eucalyptus forest, and both birds and marsupials truly thrive in the national park.
On this full-day excursion from Brisbane, you’ll visit the national park and experience the beautiful nature, go walking in the treetops – and on the ground – and learn more about both the Aboriginal people and the arrival of the first Europeans in the region.
If time allows, you’ll visit one of the local wineries before returning to Brisbane.
The price includes: Transport and guide.
