Full-day excursion to Phillip Island
The Penguin Parade on Phillip Island is an absolute highlight and a popular day trip from Melbourne. The sight of all the little penguins waddling across the beach to rest in their burrows is simply delightful.
The days starts elsewhere, however. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you can get right up close to kangaroos, wallabies, flying squirrels and koalas, and learn more about Australia’s unique wildlife.
On Phillip Island, you’ll visit Cape Woolamai beach, one of the island’s most popular surfing beaches. At Seal Rocks on the southern tip of Phillip Island, you’ll get to see seals before the day ends with the penguin parade from a separate observation deck – away from the crowds. The penguins come ashore at sunset, so you won’t be back in Melbourne until late evening.
You’ll be back in Melbourne late evening.
The price includes: Transport, guide, admission to Moonlit Sanctuary and penguin parade observation deck.
