Full-day excursion to the Barossa Valley wine region
It’s almost impossible to visit Adelaide without going to the Barossa Valley.
The area is known worldwide for the excellent wines that the Mediterranean climate produces. Sweetness, flavour and full-bodiedness are the hallmarks of the area’s red wines, while the slightly cooler, higher-lying areas produce a delicious Chardonnay.
The day offers a full-day excursion to the Barossa Valley – with a guide, of course. That way, you both get to learn something about the wine region and can taste the delights without having to think about driving home yourself.
It’s not all about wine though. At Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, “morning tea” is served with a view of the vineyards, and you also enjoy a delicious lunch (with wine, naturally) at one of the local wineries.
In Hahndorf – Barossa’s oldest German town – there’s time to go exploring yourself and possibly buy a few souvenirs.
There’s plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way on today’s excursion, and stops will be made in several places at good viewpoints offering a fabulous view over the lush vineyards.
Included in the tour are: transport, guide, morning tea, lunch and wine tastings.
Please note that a minimum number of 4 participants is required for this tour to go ahead. If this number is not reached, the tour will be cancelled, and you will, of course, get your money back.
