Whale safari in Sydney
From mid-May to mid-November, you can join an unforgettable whale safari in Sydney and get up close to the majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. Experiencing Sydney’s iconic buildings and skyline from the seaside is an amazing experience, and, on this trip, you can even combine it with the opportunity for some world-class whale watching!
The trip begins with a leisurely cruise past some of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks, including Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once you leave the port behind, the exciting safari begins with a lookout for the humpback whales, which reveal their position when they come to the surface and blow air out of their blowhole. Experienced and passionate guides share their knowledge of the whales’ behaviour, migration and biology, providing a deeper understanding of and, not least, exciting insights into these amazing creatures.
The catamaran, which is designed for whale watching, offers both indoor and outdoor seating with large windows and open decks for optimal views of the sea. There is room for 180 passengers on board, but there is a maximum number of 95 passengers on the trip, so that everyone can get a good seat and the best possible whale watching experience.
Coffee, tea and water are available throughout the trip, and the crew will make sure that all passengers are comfortable and safe. The trip also includes a delicious BBQ buffet for lunch.
Look forward to a fantastic nature experience at sea.
