La Villa Bahia
Situated in the heart of Pelourinho, right in front of São Francisco Church and Convent, is the small boutique hotel La Villa Bahia. Here, you are close to all the attractions of the beautiful, historic district, and right in front of the hotel, there is a cosy square that buzzes with life, with lots of good restaurants and cafés.
La Villa Bahia is two beautifully renovated mansions dating back to the colonial era, and you can almost feel the history when you check in. The original floors are intact, and staying here is truly an experience.
The hotel has just 17 rooms, all of which are uniquely furnished with beautiful old furniture that is in keeping with the age of the buildings. All of the rooms have air conditioning, a minibar, a TV and Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with a hair dryer and bathrobes.
Look forward to first-class gastronomy in the hotel’s restaurant, which combines French and Bahian cuisine. Your breakfast (included) is served either in the restaurant or in the small courtyard.
The hotel also has a small swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip after a hot day of experiences in the colourful district.
There is a small roof terrace where you can relax and enjoy a good cup of Brazilian coffee while the sun goes down over the city roofs.
