Pousada Solar dos Deuses
Situated in the middle of Largo do Cruzeiro de São Francisco square, in the centre of Salvador’s colourful historic district, Pelourinho, is this charming little boutique hotel. From the hotel’s rooms, you can look down over the cosy square where café and restaurant guests are enjoying lunch or a cup of coffee. Standing majestically at the end of the square is the impressive São Francisco Church, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening.
The hotel has just 6 rooms, spread over two floors. Meticulous attention to detail has been paid here, and all rooms are individually decorated in different colours with beautiful antique furniture.
Breakfast is served in the room at the desired time and includes homemade bread, fruit and local delicacies, such as tapioca pancakes.
In the evening, you can stroll around the atmospheric streets of Pelourinho, with their cosy galleries, restaurants and bars, and enjoy the fantastic street life with music and dancing.
