Refúgio da Ilha
Refúgio da Ilha is located in southern Pantanal, a 4-hour drive from Campo Grande.
This cosy little lodge has just eight rustic rooms, all with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a hair dryer and a fridge.
The lodge has two restaurants. One is indoors and this is where breakfast and dinner are served. The other is outdoors by the Salobra River, where you can enjoy your lunch in the midst of the beautiful scenery.
Look forward to tasting the local specialities and international dishes, all prepared from fresh, organic ingredients from the local market.
Two excursions a day are organised, one in the morning and one in the afternoon/evening, when the animals are most active.
In the middle of the day, you can relax at the lodge, go for a walk in the scenic area or enjoy a refreshing dip in the river.
Free Wi-Fi is also available in all of the lodge’s communal areas.
