Culinary Experience in the Colourful Bo-Kaap Neighbourhood
Want to come on a super fun, educational and interactive tour – where lunch is also included?
With its lovely, colourful houses, the Bo-Kaap neighbourhood is one of Cape Town’s most beautiful and most visited neighbourhoods. Bo-Kaap was formerly known as the Malay Quarter. The neighbourhood is the heart of the Cape Malay culture, and nowhere else in the city can you get better Cape Malay food than here.
On this half-day excursion, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make some of the most common Cape Malay dishes, such as masala and samosa – and, of course, taste the delights afterwards. Your guide will show you around the neighbourhood and guide you on the correct way to make the dishes – and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about the food, the neighbourhood and the culture.
