You have the option to upgrade to a bungalow room, which offers more space and views of the garden or pool. Alternatively, you can opt for a Junior Suite, which features a private balcony with sea views.

In addition to the hotel’s own guests, there may also be day visitors during the daytime. Many hotels on Barú offer a so-called ‘day pass,’ allowing non-guests to make use of the hotel’s facilities and restaurant during the day, with transport back to Cartagena arranged in the afternoon.

Transfer to/from the hotel:

Transfer to/from the hotel can be via minibus or speedboat, depending on the number of people and the weather conditions on the day.

If the transfer is by boat, you will be picked up at your hotel in Cartagena and transported to Cartagena’s harbour. A speedboat will be waiting there to safely take you to Isla del Encanto – a journey of about 1 hour. Please note, a harbour tax of around 7-10 USD per person (payable in local currency COP) is required locally.

If the transfer is by minibus, you will be collected from your hotel in Cartagena and driven to the harbour at Barú. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours. From there, a brief 5-10 minute boat ride will take you to the hotel.
