Salento and The Cocora Valley
Embark on a full day excursion where you visit two of the main attractions of the Coffee Region: the Cocora Valley and the traditional coffee village of Salento.
Salento is the oldest village in the area and is known for its traditional architecture and handicrafts. It’s an amazing place where you can admire colourful houses painted in all the colours of the rainbow, balconies overflowing with flowers and a hospitality you’ll never forget.
From here, you continue to the Cocora Valley, which is part of Los Nevado National Park (PNN Los Nevados). Here, you will enjoy a gentle walk in the scenic valley, characterised by the spectacular wax palms, which can grow up to a height of 60 metres. It is also Colombia’s national tree.
In the afternoon, it’s time to enjoy a delicious local lunch and try traditional games such as “Tejo & Sapo”, together with a “pola colombiana”, a Colombian beer.
The tour includes lunch, a bottle of water and a local beer.
