• Named after the Tarangire River, Tarangire National Park is known for the hundreds of elephants that live in herds around the river.

• In Lake Manyara National Park, you’ll discover the large lake after which the park is named. The lake is the gathering point for an abundance of wildlife, where hippos, among other animals, enjoy the lake’s water.
