Vila Ombak enjoys a wonderful location by the white sandy beach on the south-eastern side of Gili Trawangan. Close to great restaurants, pleasant cafés and bars, it is a mere 8-minute walk from where you disembark.

The hotel is cosy and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It exudes authentic Indonesian style with traditional lumbung cottages and bungalows.

Vila Ombak has a total of 148 spacious and tastefully appointed rooms with classic wooden furniture and Indonesian art. Seahorse Restaurant, the hotel’s main restaurant, is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. In the morning, it serves fresh fruit, home-made yoghurt, freshly baked bread, eggs, and pancakes, while for lunch and dinner, there are Indonesian and Southern European specialities, fish and shellfish, as well as various grilled dishes on the menu.

Pondok Santi Estate

On the southern tip of Gili Trawangan sits the luxurious Pondok Santi Estate Hotel. In 2005, the hotel was built from an old coconut plantation, which today has been transformed into a tropical garden.

Pondok Santi Estate has a private beach with loungers and hammocks, from which you can enjoy the sun and the view of the turquoise water. Excellent snorkelling opportunities with a world of colourful corals and fish await a few meters from the edge of the beach.
