Batu Karang Lembongan Resort is located on a coral slope above Jungut Batu Beach, overlooking Badung Strait and the magnificent volcano Mt. Agung in Bali.
As the resort is built on several levels, you can enjoy the stunning view from wherever you are. There is also a buggy to transport you around the resort.
Batu Karang is built in rustic materials that harmonise nicely with the tropical surroundings. The style is modern and traditional, which is also reflected in the resort’s 37 villas and suites, which are attractively appointed with light walls, beautiful stone floors and nice dark wood furniture, which gives it a warm and cosy feel.
The room categories range from double rooms of 45 m2, several of which have a private plunge pool, to a 3-room villa of 300 m2. All room categories offer air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a mosquito net over the bed, a TV, a telephone, internet, a minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, an iron and ironing board, bathrobes and a hair dryer. There is also an outdoor bath and shower.
Dotted around the resort are several small oases where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, and relax with a good book. There are also 3 swimming pools with sun loungers and parasols. The first is a freshwater infinity pool for adults only, and then there’s a family pool with a swim-up bar, and lastly a 25-metre-long pool which is suitable for lap swimming.
If you’re more into the beach, the beautiful Jungut Batu beach is just a few metres from the resort. The beach is child-friendly and the water is calm, as the waves are broken by a reef a little way out, where you’ll see experienced surfers riding the waves.
Batu Karang offers several fabulous places to eat. Look forward to The Deck – Café & Bar where you can enjoy panini, pizza, pies, gelato, cakes and freshly squeezed juice, smoothies and coffee. Or Muntigs Bar & Restaurant, which serves Asian and international specialities. You can also head up to the intimate restaurant The Balcony. There are several cosy restaurants and bars nearby if you don’t want to eat at the resort every day.
As a guest staying at Batu Karang, you also have the option to rent bicycles, treat yourself to a relaxing massage at the spa and keep fit in the gym.
In the evening, you can enjoy a glass of chilled white wine, whisky on the rocks or a nice gin in The Howff bar.
