Griya Santrian

Griya Santrian is a delightful and charming hotel built in Balinese style. It enjoys a lovely, peaceful location by Sanur’s child-friendly beach and is walking distance from local shops, restaurants and markets selling beautiful wooden crafts, among other things.

With 94 rooms, Griya Santrian is a relatively large hotel, but it doesn’t seem that big, as the rooms are situated in several small buildings dotted around the hotel’s tropical gardens.

The rooms are spacious and simply appointed with calm, earthy colours and traditional dark wood furniture. Each room has its own terrace or balcony, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, read a good book or play cards with your family. All rooms offer Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, a TV and an electric kettle so you can start the day with a cup of tea or coffee. Toiletries, bottled mineral water and a hair dryer are provided in the bathroom.

The hotel offers 4 room categories, and each category is located a short distance from one of the hotel’s 3 lovely swimming pools (including children’s pool) for refreshing dips and hours of play.

If the feeling of sand between your toes is more you, the hotel’s private beach is the place for you, where you can make use of the free sun loungers and parasols, while the sun beats down. Or how about kayaking in the waves of blue?

As a guest staying at Griya Santrian you also have free use of bicycles, so you can head out and explore more of Sanur.

Griya Santrian has two wonderful restaurants, both of which overlook the beach and the Indian Ocean. Delicious Eastern and Western dishes are served at both Wantilan and Starfish Beach Lounge, and both restaurants have theme evenings a couple of times a week, often with live music.
