Sanak Retreat Bali

Sanak Retreat Bali is a beautiful, peaceful oasis situated in the most beautiful surroundings with a painterly view of the mountains and the grass-green rice paddies in Munduk.

Sanak Retreat Bali consists of 11 spacious and rustic bungalows built from teak and other natural materials in harmony with their surroundings. They also feature simple interiors decorated with fine Indonesian crafts. All the bungalows feature Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, safe and ceiling fan, as well as a bathroom with a hair dryer and toiletries. In the morning, when you wake up, you can sit down on the porch and just enjoy the silence and the unique view of the rice paddies and the mystical mountains.

The hotel is deeply invested in sustainability, education and the local community. A total of 80% of the employees come from the local village, while the rest come from other villages in the local area. There is also close cooperation with local farmers and the local school with regard to education and learning, as the hotel’s philosophy is that everyone should benefit from the location.

The dishes at Sanak Kitchen consist of organic vegetables from the hotel’s own garden, as well as fruit and spices from the surrounding area. The raw ingredients are provided by local producers and the menu consists of Balinese and Javanese dishes with some detours to other Asian and European countries. After a delightful meal, you can swing by Sanak Bar, where cocktails are shaken with local fruits.

Pamper yourself with a trip to Sanak Heal Spa as well, where you can get a massage, body scrub or flower bath.

Other facilities include a yoga and meditation area, library, games area including darts and petanque, as well as a small shop with the hotel’s own natural products, which are made from local plants and herbs without any chemicals. The hotel also offers a cooking school and mountain bike trips.
