Guided bicycle ride at sunrise in Sanur

Early in the morning, a wonderful bicycle ride awaits you, where you will experience a side of Sanur that only a few visitors get to see.

Before the sun rises on the horizon, you will arrive at our local partner’s office in Sanur and prepare for the day’s adventure. The bicycle ride begins with a leisurely ride along the beach, where you can admire the breathtaking sunrise. The light over the sea from the rising sun creates an unforgettable sight and gives you a peaceful start to the day.

The ride then continues to Sanur’s morning market, where the locals gather daily to buy fresh produce. Here you will have the opportunity to taste local delicacies such as delicious chocolate pancakes with fried banana or the traditional yellow rice. Meanwhile, your guide will make sure to buy offering gifts for the next stop of the day.

From here, you cycle to the Campuhan Windu Segara temple, where you get a unique insight into Balinese worship rituals, while you get to participate yourself by placing offerings to the gods. In other words, you experience up close the unique Hindu culture that exists in Bali.

The bicycle ride ends at a small pavilion by the beach, where you can enjoy the dish ‘Nasi Bungkus’, a traditional meal consisting of rice and meat that many locals take with them on the go.

After an eventful morning in the saddle, it is time to return to the starting point. From here, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
