Rafting trip on the sacred Ayung River
Enjoy adrenaline-rush activities? Then come on a fun and unforgettable rafting trip on the Ayung River which flows through Ubud’s lush jungle.
You will be picked up at the hotel and driven to the starting point, where you will be issued with a life jacket, safety helmet and paddle.
A steep path and stairs lead you down to the Ayung River, where you will be instructed on how to raft and how to behave on the boat, which seats six people plus a certified guide. There is a waterproof bag on board where you can store your mobile phone, money, etc.
So let the adventure begin! Over the next couple of hours, you will float along at the speed of river through rapids, past villages and through breathtaking scenery with beautiful waterfalls. You might even be lucky enough to see some of the jungle animals.
After an adventurous and fun rafting trip, you can take a warm shower and change into dry clothes. A Balinese lunch then awaits you before you are driven back to the hotel.
Remember to bring along dry clothes and non-slip shoes that can withstand getting wet as well as some cash for drinks and a tip for the rafting guide.
Children must be aged 8+ and able to swim.
