Half-day bike ride in Kyoto
Experience a different side of Kyoto on this amazing bike ride that takes you through the winding alleyways and streets of the city and past some of its major sights. Along the way, the guide will tell you about the interesting history and cultural heritage of the old capital.
The tour starts at the bicycle terminal at Kyoto Station at 9.30 am.
You cycle through the two famous geisha districts, Miyagawacho and Gion, where the guide will explain about the high culture the geishas represent today. The many tea houses fill the streets with their enchanting scents, and if you’re lucky you’ll see geishas scurrying from one tea house to another, dressed in beautiful kimonos.
You will then cycle along the Shirakawa River, past beautiful wooden houses and willow trees to the scenic Kyoto Imperial Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful flowers and plants of the season.
The tour ends back at the bike terminal with tired legs and unforgettable experiences.
