Ashnil Mara Camp
Imagine lying on a sun lounger on your own large wooden deck outside your tent in Masai Mara. You can hear the hippos fighting down in the Mara River – the river that is at the centre of the great migration every year and which this camp is located right next to.
You’ve been out on a game drive in Masai Mara all day, but now you’re just sitting relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the bush. Your tent has the look of a classic safari tent, but in a luxurious way. There are canvas walls but soft beds with a mosquito net around them, and a private bathroom with hot water. You might have a little nap in the chair. At night, you can clearly hear all the animal sounds through the canvas wall, so you were awake a couple of times during the night. But who doesn’t want to be woken by the sound of the lions roaring in the distance?
Perhaps you prefer a dip in the pool to get refreshed before the sundowner at the bar followed by dinner. No matter what your preference, you’re in the midst of everything at Ashnil Mara – surrounded by nature.
The camp has a total of 50 luxury tents.
