Mara Maisha Camp
If the weather is on your side, Mara Maisha offers one of the most beautiful sunsets over the Masai Mara! From the pool area (sneak out there even though the pool is actually closed for the day by the time the sun is going down), you get the most phenomenal view of the game reserve, with the sun slowly sinking behind a small hilltop on the horizon.
The camp consists of 73 tents, spread over an area with bushes and trees in between them. The camp might be big, but it doesn’t feel like it.
The tents are large with plenty of space for luggage, and very cosy. All of the tents have their own veranda, and the floors, both inside and out, are fixed, giving you the feeling of staying in a room – albeit with canvas walls. Wi-Fi is available in all the tents.
The bar and restaurant are the perfect place to relax, with soft sofas and cosy corners, and, like the tents, are furnished in natural materials such as wood and stone. The colours are muted, placing the focus on the nature outside.
