The location is as good as it gets! From Samburu Simba Lodge, you have a view of both the river and the plains, where giraffes, buffaloes, lions, elephants, etc., are enjoying nature’s pantry.
The lodge consists of seven small, two-storey “houses”, each with ten rooms. The rooms are cosily appointed in typical African style. They all have an en suite bathroom, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities, but most importantly, a large terrace or balcony, overlooking the plains and the wildlife.
The lodge has its own watering hole, which attracts the animals, and for the people staying there, there is a nice pool to cool down in. There is a restaurant, pool bar and the option to have a massage. There is also a small souvenir shop at the lodge.
