Half-day safari in Nairobi National Park
Kenya’s very first national park, Nairobi National Park, was founded in 1946 to protect the wildlife from the rapidly growing city. Today, the area covers more than 100 km2, and with Nairobi’s skyscrapers in the background, safari experiences here are quite something.
A half-day safari in the national park offers an array of experiences. In fact, Nairobi National Park is one of the best places in Kenya to see rhinos. The park also has lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, etc. The area where the national park is located was one of Karen Blixen’s favourite areas to go hunting.
