Combine your relaxing beach holiday in Mombasa with a safari where you experience the gorgeous nature and fantastic animal life of three national parks, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
This trip is a magnificent mix of beach holiday and safari in three wonderful national parks. You will start in Mombasa, with time to relax on the white sandy beaches before heading off on your safari adventure. After two nights, you will be taken to Tsavo East, one of the biggest and oldest national parks in Kenya, where you will have the chance to see a variety of Africa’s iconic animals, as well as rare species such as the black serval, kudu and oryx. Amboseli, one of Kenya’s smallest national parks, presents a delightful view of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is famous in particular for its huge herds of elephants. Tsavo West features a remarkably varied landscape of wetlands, natural springs and undulating terrain created by volcanic activity. The animals you can see here include black rhinoceroses, buffalo, lions, leopards, hippopotamuses and elephants, which are coloured red by the dust.
After your safari adventure, you drive back to Mombasa, where you will be spending another six nights. Here, you can lie back under the swaying palm trees and think about all your recent experiences, or go exploring in the city of Mombasa, strolling through the narrow streets and alleys, breathing in the scents of spices, and learning about the local culture and history.
Departure day, where you will fly to Kenya with connecting flights along the way.
Beautiful beaches, palms and great food – these are your keywords for the next two days. Time to sit back and relax before the adventure begins.

Today the tour starts early and we embark on the journey towards the East Tsavo.
Tsavo is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya. Tsavo East and West together form an area of 21,000 km2 and is thus one of the largest national parks.
Over half of Tsavo is made up of the Eastern part of the park and is characterised by a single landscape, shaped by a volcanic which was active thousands of years ago.
Thanks to Galana river which runs through the park , there is a rich and varied wildlife in Tsavo East .This is offers the chance to see lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, hyena, ostrich, gazelle, buffalo, large herds of elephant and plenty more wildlife.
The park is also a haven for birdwatchers in the period of late October to the beginning of January, when many migratory birds gather in Tsavo.
Today we head to Amboseli National Park. The Amboseli National Park is one of the smaller parks in Africa, but there are still plenty of amazing experiences waiting for you here.
The sight of Kilimanjaro, with its snow covered peak, gives Amboseli a special beauty and charm. The sparse vegetation throughout the park makes it much easier to find the wildlife.
Amboseli is best known for its large herds of elephant and there are plenty of bird species to be found.
Tsavo West covers an incredibly diverse landscape, ranging from wetlands and the natural sources of hilly terrain, created by volcanic activity with natural vegetation.
We visit a natural source, Mzima Springs, which has runs from the Chyulu Hills. It is surrounded by palm trees and acacia trees, producing an incredible 220 million liters of water per day – enough to cover most of Mombasa’s need for fresh water!
There is also a unique underground observation tank where we can see crocodile, hippo and a variety of fish up close – through a window.
The park offers excellent opportunities to see many of the wild animals. This includes black rhino, buffalo, large herds of elephant coloured red by the dust, leopard, lion and much more. On the plains, we can see herds of grazing giraffe, zebra and impala.
Today we head out for an early morning game drive where we experience the nature waking up to a new day. Here we enjoy our last safari experiences before we drive back early afternoon to Mombasa.
In Mombasa there are new adventures awaiting, with white sandy beaches, green palm trees, azure seas, coral reefs, fascinating history and a lively port city.
Spend the days in Mombasa at your own leisure.
The time has now come to leave Kenya and head for home. You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport to catch your flight to the UK, which will include connecting flights along the way.
