Full-day excursion to Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring

You can look forward to spending a day in nature, where you will experience the national park, Kinabalu Park, which, with its lush botanical garden and hot spring, Poring Hot Spring, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning and be taken on a scenic 2-hour drive towards the magnificent national park, Kinabalu Park. Along the way, you will pass small, charming villages and breathtaking rice fields that provide a beautiful picture of rural Sabah. You will make a stop at the authentic Nabalu Market, where you can explore a wealth of local products and buy some snacks.

On the horizon, you will begin to glimpse Southeast Asia’s tallest mountain, Mt. Kinabalu, which slowly gets closer, and the sight of the majestic mountain is an experience in itself.

Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park, you will have time to immerse yourself in the park’s diverse plant and animal life, with more than 4,500 species of flora and fauna. You will be guided along the 700-metre path through the park’s botanical garden and learn about its birdlife, rhododendrons, insects, orchids, and carnivorous plants.

Afterwards, you will be treated to a delicious lunch before the excursion continues to the hot spring, Poring Hot Spring. Here, you can enjoy the mineral-rich hot springs, known for their relaxing and therapeutic properties. If you are in the mood for a bit of excitement, you can take a trip up to Canopy Walkway, which offers a walk among the treetops with spectacular views of the rainforest.

After an eventful day full of new experiences in Sabah’s wondrous nature, you will be driven back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
