Street Art in George Town
George Town has become Southeast Asia’s unofficial capital of street art, and this half-day excursion will show you why.
On this guided walk, led by a local guide, you will explore the city’s impressive diversity and creativity. You will see murals like Little Boy with Pet Dinosaur and Children on a Bicycle as well as masterpieces like This Old Man – all created by Malaysian artist Ernest Zacharevic.
After exploring George Town’s art scene, you can relax in a traditional Chinese coffee shop, where you can enjoy delicious local specialties such as lor bak (spicy pork rolls), penang laksa (noodle soup), and char koay teow (fried noodle dish). The meal is rounded off with coffee and dessert – a perfect end to an inspiring day.
