Join us on this half-day excursion, where you will experience one of Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist temples and go on a scenic funicular ride up Penang Hill with stunning views.
You will first visit the Kek Lok Si Temple, which is one of Malaysia’s most impressive temples. The temple combines Chinese, Thai, and Burmese architectural styles with detailed carvings and vibrant colours. It is built on a hillside and consists of several levels with various shrines and statues. In the centre of the temple stands an impressive statue of the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin, towering over the temple, while the beautiful seven-floor pagoda stands out with its architectural masterpiece and unparalleled views of Penang.
The excursion ends with a scenic funicular ride up Penang Hill, which reaches an altitude of 2732 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views of Georgetown and the lush nature of the island.
