Snorkelling at Cozumel

Look forward to an unforgettable snorkelling experience in the Caribbean Sea!

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Playa del Carmen and driven down to the ferry. The boat trip to Cozumel takes about 45 minutes. From Cozumel, you will be sailed by speedboat out to Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park: a world-famous snorkelling paradise!

Here you can explore the rich marine life in the warm crystal-clear waters and see what hides beneath the surface of the sea. For example, you can get up close to the fascinating marine life and encounter rays, colourful tropical fish and giant starfish. One of the most popular areas in the national park is called El Cielo, which translated into English means ‘heaven’. El Cielo is only accessible by boat. This is also where a number of rays live, and you can feel them whizzing right past your feet with their wide fins on the seabed.

After your snorkelling adventure of about three hours, you will be served a delicious lunch with beverages. Relax and digest the impressions of the day together with your meal before it is time to head back to your hotel in Playa del Carmen.

Duration: approx. 4-5 hours

The trip includes: Transport, guide, lunch with beverages, flippers, snorkelling equipment and a life jacket.

Remember to bring: Towel, swimwear, sunglasses, cap and sunscreen with a high UV factor – preferably one of the so-called reef-safe sunscreens that are free from the harmful substances that can destroy the corals.
