A gourmet experience in Lima – evening

Embark on an unforgettable dining experience in Peru that will take your senses on a culinary adventure.

Lima is world-renowned for its gastronomy, so if you want to indulge your taste buds, this is a unique opportunity to try some of the country’s famous delicacies.

You will be collected at your hotel together with other guests joining the trip. You will visit 3-4 different eateries in Lima, and during the tour the guide will tell you about the country’s culture and history and how it has influenced the food culture through the ages.

At the first stop, you will be served a flavour fusion of a Peruvian dish accompanied by an exotic drink while enjoying a beautiful sunset over the Pacific. The trip then continues up the cliffs to a restaurant where you will be taken back in time. Here, you will sample a variety of intriguing traditional dishes while taking in views of impressive pre-Inca ruins.

Afterwards, the tour continues to a gourmet restaurant in Miraflores, where you will learn more about the various ingredients used in Peruvian food culture while being served a creative and exclusive palette of specialties, ending with a delicious dessert.

The last stop of the tour is in the charming bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco, where the evening ends with a short walk and something for those with a sweet tooth.

Afterwards, you will be driven back to your hotel.

This is a group trip, and the concept is ‘social dining’, where you eat at large tables with about 10 guests in total.
