Hike to the top of Huayna Picchu Mountain
Next to Machu Picchu stands the 2,693-metre-high mountain, Huayna Picchu. It is 260 metres higher than Machu Picchu, and from the top of the mountain you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Machu Pichu ruin complex and the Urubamba river.
However, it is a demanding climb to the top up small, steep and, at times, slippery steps – so not for everyone.
There is a limit to how many people are allowed to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain per day, so it is important to book well in advance and always while booking your holiday.
The tour is without a guide.
