An evening in multi-cultural Singapore

Join this exciting evening excursion where you will gain a unique insight into Singapore’s melting pot of cultures through a historical walk. 

Meet your guide at Singapore’s historic hub, Telok Ayer, where you will begin your tour of one of Singapore’s oldest Chinese neighbourhoods where the original architecture has been preserved.  

From here, you walk along the famous ‘Street of Harmony’, where several different religious buildings can be found within a short distance – including a temple, a mosque and a church. The area is a living testament to Singapore’s ethnic diversity and unique cultural harmony. Your guide will tell you interesting stories about Telok Ayer Green, Thian Hock Keng Temple, and Masjid Al-Alrar, which helps to give you a deeper understanding of the many ethnic groups that have shaped Singapore. 

Afterwards, it’s time to enjoy a delicious supper at Lau Pa Sat, a collection of food stalls located in one of Southeast Asia’s oldest Victorian buildings. Here, you can taste iconic dishes such as Singapore’s Hainanese chicken rice, which has helped to put Singaporean street food on the map. 

Your evening concludes at the waterfront, where you can admire the mesmerising light and water show at Marina Bay Sands, an unforgettable experience that showcases Singapore’s technological innovation and creativity.  

As you are in the area, you can choose to enjoy the beautiful view of Gardens by the Bay, where the light and music show, Garden Rhapsody, lights up the garden in all the colours of the rainbow.   

After an evening packed with cultural experiences and culinary highlights, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
