Street food tour of Chinatown

On this excursion, amazing flavours await you in Singapore’s vibrant Chinatown. Here, you embark on a culinary journey that brings to light both the traditional and modern sides of Singapore’s food culture.

In the afternoon, you meet in Chinatown, where your guide is ready to show you a world of culinary delicacies. You will be able to taste bakkwa, a long-grilled meat dish made from a secret recipe that has been passed for generations. It is served in a dried version and can be purchased wrapped so you can take it home as a souvenir.

The tour continues through the streets of Chinatown, passing stalls selling exotic fruits, including the infamous durian, which you will be able to try tasting. You will also pass a wealth of food stalls, where you can sink your teeth into the locals’ favourite, fried carrot cake, or the noodle dish char keow teow.

The main course is served at Singapore’s first Michelin-starred street stall. Their signature dish, soya sauce chicken rice, is served here for you to enjoy before your culinary excursion ends in the best way and on a sweet note at a popular dessert café.

After an evening filled with delicious flavours, the rest of the evening is at your leisure.
