Riu Palace Zanzibar

Riu Palace Zanzibar is a 5-star hotel positioned on the north-west coast of Zanzibar, right next to Nungwi Beach, which is rightly famous for its soft white sand and turquoise water. The hotel is set in a tropical garden filled with palm trees and exotic plants and flowers.

The architecture draws inspiration from the African heart of Zanzibar, combined with the Arabian history of the island. The spacious rooms all have a large balcony or terrace, from where you can look out over the garden and the romantic Indian Ocean. The rooms are furnished in modern style, with a hint of Africa and warm, earthy tones. All feature a four-poster bed with a mosquito net, air conditioning, ceiling fan and WiFi. Other conveniences include a telephone, TV, minibar, safe and CD/DVD-player, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The restaurants serve exquisite traditional dishes and international cuisine, while the bars present a variety of colourful cocktails. There is also a separate hookah lounge, where you can immerse yourself in authentic Arabian ambience.
