Situated between swaying coconut palms right on Bangsakin beach overlooking the Andaman Sea, with lush mountains as its backdrop, is Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort.

The resort offers a shuttle bus service to the popular Bang Niang market and Khao Lak Center, which are a 15–20-minute drive away. Stalls selling delicious street food, good restaurants and shops are to be found here.

The resort has 158 spacious rooms, suites and villas, all of which are light and modern, in harmony with the surroundings. All rooms have Wi-Fi, a minibar, complimentary bottled mineral water, a safe, an electric kettle for tea and coffee, a TV, a telephone and an iron and ironing board. For lunch and dinner, you can visit the resort’s other restaurant, Edgewater Restaurant & Bar, which is located down on the beach and serves authentic Thai dishes, pizza, juicy steaks, fresh seafood and delicious salads. You’re welcome to watch your food being made by the chefs in the open kitchen. For dessert, you can enjoy a range of ice cream from the popular ice cream bar.

Along the beach, you will also find good local seafood restaurants if you don’t want to eat at the resort every night.
