Thanya Beach Resort

Thanya Beach Resort is located right on the serene white sandy beach on the bounty island of Koh Ngai. The resort is surrounded by lush, green countryside, and in front of it stretches the beautiful sandy beach, offering an unforgettable panoramic view of the Andaman Sea with its vertical limestone karsts and iconic long-tail boats. The beach faces east, so if you’re an early riser, you can start the day with a walk along it and enjoy the beautiful sunrise.

The resort consists of 38 wooden bungalows of at least 25 m2, scattered throughout a tropical garden. They are all decorated in a simple, authentic Thai style with a private veranda where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. All of the bungalows have a bed with mosquito net, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a fridge and a kettle so you can make tea and coffee. The bathroom is kitted out with toiletries, a shower and a hairdryer. There is free Wi-Fi in the communal areas.

The beach has both sun loungers and parasols, and when the sun is at its highest in the sky, you can cool off with a swim in the clear water, put on a mask and snorkel, and explore life below the waves or jump in the infinity pool, which is for the young and old alike.

The resort’s restaurant, Rim Talay, serves a good selection of Thai and European dishes, as well as fresh seafood, and in the evening, you can enjoy a cool drink in the ambient bar while the stars twinkle in the sky. There are several small restaurants and lounge bars along the beach.

Massages are also available, and the reception will be happy to help arrange various excursions to the nearby islands.
