Kayaking adventure in Koh Yao Yai’s mangrove forest
Kayaking is a great way to get right up close to nature.
You’ll be picked up from the hotel and driven to the south-western part of Koh Yao Yai at Lop Pa Lai, where you’ll experience the beautiful mangrove forest. You’ll be issued with a kayak and given a short briefing about the tour. You’ll then be ready to head out on your kayaking adventure.
It’s nothing less than fantastic to paddle gently along the narrow canals in the shade of the mangrove trees. Listen to the sounds of nature and enjoy the view of the abundant wildlife. The mangrove forest is a breeding ground for birds, fish, prawns, crayfish, shellfish, snails and Atlantic mudskippers. It’s also highly likely that you’ll meet the forest’s macaques, which thrive in the mangrove forest.
After a wonderful morning in a sea kayak, you’ll be driven back to the hotel.
