The Phi Phi Islands and Chicken Island by speedboat
On this tour, you’ll experience some of the Andaman Sea’s postcard-worthy islands that lie like a string of pearls: Phi Phi Don, Bamboo Island (Koh Mai Phai) and Chicken Island (Koh Gai). You’ll have time to explore the islands and the sea around them, and it goes without saying that there will be snorkelling equipment available on board the boat.
You’ll be picked up from the hotel and driven to the pier, where you leave the mainland and sail by speedboat to the famous island of Phi Phi Don, the largest of the 6 Phi Phi islands. The island is known for its paradise beaches, dramatic rock formations and great snorkelling, with crystal-clear waters and colourful marine life. As the only inhabited island in the archipelago, Phi Phi Don buzzes with life, and you have the opportunity to experience the island’s charm when you hike up to the island’s viewpoint, which offers an unrivalled view.
At Tonsai Bay, a delicious, traditional Thai lunch is served and enjoyed on the beach. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to wander around the lively town centre or spend the time relaxing on one of the nearby beaches, enjoying the sunshine and swimming in the lovely, clear water.
You’ll then set course for the beautiful, little island, Bamboo Island, which is also one of the Phi Phi Islands. The island is known for its bounty beaches with the softest powder sand and clear, turquoise water. It is the perfect place to sunbathe, swim and snorkel, as the surrounding coral reef attracts beautiful, colourful fish.
The last stop is Chicken Island, which is named after a mountain formation that looks like a hen. This distinctive formation makes Chicken Island a place of pilgrimage. The island also offers fabulous beaches and is surrounded by crystal-clear waters with coral reefs and tropical fish.
After a fantastic day on the Andaman Sea, you’ll be sailed back to the mainland and driven back to your hotel.
