Beacon Grand Hotel

You will find the stylish and historic Beacon Grand Hotel at Union Square right in the heart of San Francisco. Right outside the doorstep, you will find everything, such as shopping, eateries, cafés as well as the beautiful old cable car lines Hyde-Powell and Hyde-Mason, which have their turnaround at the end of the street. Already at the entrance to the hotel, you are invited into the story of a piece of authentic San Fran-style hotel from 1928, which completed a total renovation in 2022. The authentic style has been preserved, and the soul is felt in everything from the herringbone parquet floors and the hand-carved landings to the stucco ceilings.

The heart of the hotel is its famous lounge, where you step into the most beautiful room decorated with furniture from ‘back then’ – just in a newer version. Colourful fabric-covered lounge furniture with fringes and tassels draws parallels to the heyday of the 30s. In addition to the fantastic interior, there is the stunning view. The lounge offers panoramic views of the city, and there are not many better places to enjoy an afternoon tea, a cocktail or participate in a wine tasting.

The rooms are decorated in a pure boutique style, where the original pompous expression has been immortalised in a modern interpretation in light colours. In connection with the renovation of the hotel, a specially designed San Francisco wallpaper with the city’s iconic landmarks was produced, adding the final touch to the charm of the rooms. The rooms are furnished with facilities such as TV, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, blackout curtains, and a private bathroom with a small selection of free toiletries.
