Best Western Plus Santa Barbara
At a calm spot in charming Santa Barbara sits the Best Western Plus Santa Barbara. Here, you are no more than a few kilometres from the downtown area, where Spanish-inspired houses create a cosy oasis for the small restaurants, cafés, galleries, and shops that can be found here.
The hotel is built using the same style as one of the city’s characteristic houses, a Spanish style with a bright façade and ivy, which also adorns the cosy covered balcony. There is also a fitness centre, outdoor spa bath, as well as a pool in the garden that serves as a lovely place to swim a few laps before having a snack or some coffee, which can be purchased on-site.
The hotel’s 191 rooms feature simple interiors in bright colours with a touch of romantic details through its lamps, pillows and wallpaper, which serves a recurring theme in the hotel’s overall expression. All rooms feature air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, a mini fridge, a TV, as well as en suite bathroom with a hair dryer.
Attached to the hotel is the lovely “Live Oak Café”, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (paid separately), not to mention snacks and drinks. The food is fresh and often made with ingredients from local producers, including caught fish and vegetables.
