Handlery Hotel
Handlery Hotel San Diego sits at a central location amidst the city’s numerous sights. At a reasonable distance from the hotel is one of California’s most beloved beaches, Pacific Beach, not to mention the beautiful Balboa Park, the lovely Little Italy district and its wealth of restaurants, the historic Old Town, the Fashion Valley shopping district, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the harbour area with the hangar ship USS Midway.
When you’re not out exploring incredible San Diego, you can enjoy relaxation at the hotel’s wonderful pool and outdoor spa, which sits as a lovely oasis, with swaying palm trees and a small pool bar. There is also a fitness centre and a beautiful garden with massive cypress trees, where you can sit down with a cup of coffee and a good book.
The hotel was built in 1954 and was renovated in 2010. Each of the hotel’s 217 rooms feature modern interiors and offer Wi-Fi, a mini refrigerator, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a safe, and a desk. They also come with their own bathroom and hair dryer.
At the hotel restaurant, Postcards American Bistro, you can buy both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant offers a variety of classic dishes from American and Mexican cuisine. But since you’ve come to San Diego, you should explore the many culinary options the city has to offer.
