Mammoth Mountain Inn
Welcome to an altitude of 2,400 metres at the charming Mammoth Mountain Inn, located at the foot of Mammoth Mountain. During the winter months, the area is one of the most popular ski resorts for Californians, and its pleasant temperatures during the summer make it an obvious choice for outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking.
Mammoth Mountain Inn is close to the Panorama Gondola, which operates all year round. Right next to the hotel is the cosy Mountain Bar & Grill, which serves a multitude of typical American dishes for both breakfast and dinner. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from here. If you want to head into the main town itself, it’s a mere 10-minute drive from the hotel.
The hotel offers 213 rooms, all rustically appointed with wooden furniture and carpet. The rooms have a TV, a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. There is also a small seating area where you can sit and enjoy some refreshment.
The hotel also has several communal areas where you can have a relaxing moment in the large armchairs or play chess by the cosy fireplace. And try the outdoor heated pool or hot tub while enjoying the view of the fantastic surroundings here on the edge of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.
