Airboat and alligators – half-day excursion to Everglades National Park

Join us on this half-day excursion to Florida’s unique wetlands, Everglades National Park. You will be picked up at an agreed meeting point in Miami Beach (details can be found on your voucher), from where you and the other participants will be transported to the famous Everglades.

Here you will encounter magnificent natural scenery from the seat of an iconic airboat, which will take you through the beautiful wetlands. On the guided tour by airboat, you will gain insight into the flora and fauna of the ecosystem in the national park that covers an area of more than 6000 km², where wildlife is abundant. The park is home to alligators, crocodiles, black bears, frogs, snakes and more than 360 species of birds.

In addition to the airboat tour, you will have time on your own. You can learn more about the animal species and ecosystem of the area through the park’s information centres and exhibitions. You can also take a relaxing walk along one of the constructed paths, from which you can spot some of the many animals in the area.

After an exciting day of great nature experiences in Everglades National Park, you can sit back and relax as you are driven back to the meeting point.

Duration: approx. 4.5 hours incl. transport (departure from Miami is possible both morning and afternoon – please state your desired departure time when booking the excursion).
