Airboat tour of the Louisiana Swamp Delta (half-day excursion)

Join us on this exciting airboat tour and experience the unique swamplands of Southern Louisiana. You will have the opportunity to get right up close to the fascinating wildlife and beautiful natural surroundings of the area while enjoying a (sometimes) fast and adrenaline-pumping boat ride. The small airboat makes it possible to navigate easily through the canals of the swamp delta, providing the best conditions for an authentic encounter with nature and the wildlife in their own habitat.  

Along the way, your experienced guide will provide you with information about the flora and fauna of the area. Here, you will learn about the ecosystems of the swamp and probably encounter different animal species such as alligators, turtles, birds and other wildlife. On the airboat tour, you will also discover the 200-year-old fishing community of Jean Lafitte and see rare live albino alligators. 

*You will be picked up at a central meeting point in New Orleans, transported to the airboat and after the conclusion of the tour of the swamp delta, you will be transported back to the meeting point in New Orleans.

The excursion does not include: Transfer from/to hotel to/from meeting point centrally in New Orleans’ French Quarter, food and beverages, tips 

Please note: Children aged under 5, pregnant women, people with neck and back problems are not allowed to participate in the excursion.
