Full-day return excursion on the historic railroad between Williams and the Grand Canyon
Join this unforgettable full-day return excursion from Williams to the Grand Canyon South Rim. Feel like part of a bygone era when you ride on the historic railway line laid in 1901 through the scenic, changing landscape.
Setting off in the morning, you’ll travel from Williams along the same tracks that the early adventurers followed to the Grand Canyon. On your arrival at the historic Grand Canyon Village, you’ll have 3 hours on your own to experience the terracotta-coloured cliffs unfold before you. In the afternoon, you’ll head back to Williams.
Around 30 minutes before the train’s departure, you can look forward to being entertained with a dramatic reproduction of a “Wild West shoot-out”, in true cowboy style. Along the way, there will be musical features that take you back in time, while you enjoy snacks and refreshments, which are available to purchase.
