Guided walking tour of Chelsea Market, High Line Park and Hudson Yards

Explore the diversity of New York City with a local guide. On this exciting walking tour, you will visit three places that are among the favourites of New Yorkers together with your guide and other participants.  

Look forward to visiting the former factory at Chelsea Market, where the Oreo cookie was invented back in 1959. Today, the building has been transformed into a large food hall containing one delicatessen after another, and where you will, of course, sample the goods, including pizza from the local favourite Filaga Pizza, tacos from Takumi Taco and a delicious donut from Fat Witch Bakery. 

After Chelsea Market, the walking tour continues to the old railway track at High Line Park, located high above the vibrant streets. Today, the railroad track is a natural part of the beautiful High Line Park, which provides fantastic views of the city and the Hudson River. Here, your guide will share stories about the history of the area while you can enjoy the green oasis and take photos of the city’s stunning skyline. 

The walking tour ends at Hudson Yards, a more recent and highly impressive area of New York City. Here you can see the famous Vessel, an impressive structure consisting of a series of stairs offering breathtaking views of the city. Hudson Yards is also home to numerous shops, restaurants and local artisans.

Please note that the walking tour takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11.00 and in all kinds of weather. All participants are expected to be able to walk at a moderate pace. Please arrive in appropriate footwear.
