Private kayak tour in Santa Barbara with local guide (morning)

Experience Santa Barbara from its most beautiful side: the water. Do as the locals do and go kayaking in Santa Barbara’s cosy harbour. Your experienced, local guide will take you safely through the harbour, from where you’ll be treated to 360-degree panoramic views of the waterfront, the Channel Islands and the majestic vessels that dock here. And what a sight it is to see the Santa Ynez Mountains rising behind the rooftops as you look out over the city.

As you make your way through the calm waters of the harbour, your guide will share his or her knowledge of the local landscape, historical landmarks, and wildlife. You might even be lucky enough to spot some of the cute residents of the harbour: sea lions and seals. Occasionally, dolphins can also be spotted on the horizon.

We recommend that you book optional excursions when booking the tour.

Remember to bring: You should be wearing swimwear upon your arrival. You should also bring suitable clothes to wear over the top, as well as a towel and drinking bottle.

The tour is suitable for all levels, including those who are trying kayaking for the first time. The pace is adjusted to those participating. As a safety measure, it is a requirement that you can swim.

Please note that children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this tour. Children aged 5–11 must be in a tandem kayak with a parent or guardian.
