Experience the world’s tallest trees in Muir Woods and taste the juice of Californian grapes in Sonoma and Napa Valley.

You’ll be picked up by bus in the morning at a centrally located hotel in San Francisco (see details on your voucher), and ahead of you is a morning in the redwood sequoia groves of Muir Woods National Monument. The dimensions cannot be comprehended until you stand in front of the “giants” yourself and look up. And it’s a long way up. One of the tallest trees towers 76 metres above the ground. After a visit to the woods, the excursion continues to the Californian Wine Country – a veritable paradise for wine enthusiasts.

The taste of a good glass of Californian wine is taken to new heights when enjoyed in the surroundings where it was picked and produced, and today you’ll visit 2 wineries. First, a stop is made in Sonoma, where you can enjoy lunch at the historic Sonoma Plaza. An area with cosy, little cafés, restaurants, and delicatessens guaranteed to please any connoisseur. The tour continues at a leisurely pace to Napa Valley, where you can look forward to a relaxing afternoon surrounded by grapes.

You’ll return to Downtown San Francisco in the evening, where you can go looking for a restaurant if you feel like it.
